At
Tyrcanol we have a
breeding herd of around twenty-five Section A mares living
out all the year on the Welsh hills. For many years our
senior stallion was Tyrcanol Shcharansky
(sire Twyford Gamecock, dam Tyrcanol Suzie). Shcharansky
sired outstanding stock on mares from a variety of
bloodlines (Coed Coch Planed, Clan Pip, Revel Choice etc.)
and many of our best brood mares are
his daughters or grand-daughters.

(Coed Coch Planed / Tyrcanol Suzie-Swing) |
In 2008, we are expecting
foals by Tyrcanol Galahad
(chestnut), Tyrcanol Lancelot (palomino), Tyrcanol
Corsair (palomino), and Tyrcanol Cavalier (Chestnut). These stallions
have sired
consistently outstanding foals, with beautiful heads, good
limbs and superb movement so we are looking forward
with great eagerness to their foals in 2008. We will
also be expecting the first foals by the young Palomino stallion Tyrcanol
Raphael and a second year of foals
by the very exciting dun stallion Tyrcanol Lloyd George.

Tyrcanol Galahad
Section A stallion (sire Tyrcanol Apollo, dam Tyrcanol
Gentian).
Galahad sired another crop of
exceptional foals in 2006
even though he sired more colts than fillies, so we
are hoping for some daughters in 2007! His
foals are inheriting his beautiful head, long front
and sloping shoulder, superb movement and Galahad's
gentle and sensible temperament. Galahad is line-bred
to the legendary Coed Coch Planed - check out his
pedigree.
