The
Tyrcanol
Section
Cs began with Tyrcanol Palamelynda, a daughter of the legendary
Lyn Cwm Coed. She was crossed with stallions from
Parc Lady bloodlines to breed section Cs for harness, and
several of her descendants are still in the stud. In the
1980s we used Parc Sir Ivor and were lucky enough
to breed two full-height and much-admired daughters, Tyrcanol
Maria and Tyrcanol Blackberry. Our youngstock
includes two outstanding chestnut mares, Tyrcanol Pelydrog (by Parc Welsh Dragon, from the Palamelynda
family) and Tyrcanol Gwenllian, Maria's daughter by Nebo
Bouncer.
Since
2002, we have been using the outstanding
full-height chestnut stallion
Tyrcanol Red Dragon, a son of Tyrcanol Maria.
Dragon's foals have real Welsh type, superb necks and
shoulders, and exceptional movement. In 2009 we will have for sale
the exceptional chestnut geldings Tyrcanol Rhun and
Tyrcanol Viking Warrior, both sons of
Tyrcanol Red Dragon foaled in 2004 and both
showing every promise of a major cereer under saddle.
